Borderless Connectivity and Generic Computing Devices

This is the talk I gave at the Internet of Things Festival in Cambridge February 22nd, 2014. You should also look at the other talks including the presentations by Jim Gettys and Jeff Schiller on the (in)security of things.

As I listened to the various presentations that day I realized that much of what is said about IoT (The Internet of Things) is really about traditional embedded systems whereas I think about how to provide building blocks to empower people.

I adjusted my talk on the fly to reflect this insight.
